  • My current body of work is the exploration of sculptural ruins through the construction and deconstruction of domestic interior spaces. The sculptures are created from completely new materials, consisting of wood, fabric, lighting fixtures, and household oddities which are then aged and deteriorated by rust, debris, stain, and sediment. While each interior is assembled from multiple architectural fragments, the remnants are combined in an attempt to recreate a sense of a unified whole. These dwellings become abandoned artifacts, lingering reminders of our own mortality, the passage of time, and degradation of memory.
